PastView offers guided tours enhanced by augmented reality, virtually recreating historical cultural landscapes is specific sites. Using AR glasses, tourists interact with virtual reconstructions of events and historical figures, deepening their engagement and understanding of heritage locations. After consultation with the innovator, it might be possible to incorporate, as part of these digital experiences, elements and stories that nudge customers towards environmentally sustainable behaviours at the destination and in their daily lives.

Implementing PastView’s technology allows tourism SMEs to enhance visitor engagement by providing immersive and educational experiences. This innovation attracts tech-savvy tourists seeking unique interactions with cultural heritage, potentially increasing visitor numbers and revenue.
