What is this innovation about?
The Cesar Mini is a heat battery that provides gas-free heating all year round via the existing radiators and/or floor heating. Energy is collected and stored as heat in two ways: via a dynamic energy contract with flexible rates, and/or via your own solar panels. Solar panels are not necessary to benefit from the Cesar Mini. This innovation ensures energy availability throughout the year, making the timing of energy usage more independent from the timing of energy purchase.
What’s in it for a tourism SME?
The Cesar Mini stores electricity in the form of heat and does not use fossil fuels. This keeps energy costs very low. This green innovation not only helps save on operational expenses but also promotes environmental sustainability, enhancing the eco-friendly image of the business and attracting environmentally conscious customers.
Consider that:
Cesar Mini has a size of approximately 2x2x2 m (8 m3) and weighs 5.000 Kg. The system needs to be placed near a building. A corner in the garden is sufficient. Charging is done via a standard 3-phase connection. The initial investment for a Cesar Mini system is up to €16,000. However, the nature of the system ensures minimal maintenance costs.
